About Us

The building is a professional purpose built performance studios, built via National Lottery Arts Council funding in 2003.

“The Howard Venue” started on the 1st of June 2016 and was set up by a group of local residents. This consortium of residents had a vision to have a “Community Centre” for the benefit and use of the local residents and neighbouring communities. The Howard Venue was created as a not-for-profit organisation and run as a charity with a board of Trustees.

The Howard Venue offers a very wide range of classes and activities. These include, music lessons, yoga, pilates, aerial and trapeze, Zumba, dance classes inc. Irish, ballet, tap. We also have choirs, board games club, gymnastics, baby classes, children’s and adult classes.

If there is something that you would like to see on offer at The Howard Venue, please let us know and we will see what we can do. The age range of people that come into the venue is vast and starts at babies all the way through to 100+ years old. We really do cater for everyone!

We are very proud of our studios and our facilities and would love to see you here.

We booked a studio at the Howard Venue to record a promotional video for our party band The Wishlist (www.the-wishlist.org) and the whole process from initial booking to the service on the day was painless and impeccable.

Petrina and her staff are consistently friendly, helpful and a pleasure to work with and everything ran smoothly without the slightest problem – so much so that we have re-booked the venue for a bigger video for The Fleetwood Mac Experience.

We can’t wait to get back there.
